A professional couple wanted a romantic, country garden to wrap around their beautiful, listed Georgian house and complement the new extension.

Cobbled steps and a generous pathway mark the main entrance to the house.  Dry stonewalls, smothered in planting part reveal a circle of York stone cobbles, which pivots around an old well offering a choice to go to the front door or into the main garden.  Vibrant planting encases the terraced area and planting in soft muted colours of greys, whites and blues is retained by a dry stonewall to the rear.  A partially hidden, sunken seating area offers scented seclusion.
