Designed for a professional gentleman, the aim was to create an extension of the living space and a relaxing space to chill in the evenings and weekends. The garden is the focus from the upstairs living space of a refurbished 1970s house.  Curvilinear geometry unites the ‘L’ shaped house. Materials and planting are in whites, biscuit, browns and bronzes, echoing the colours of the building and interior décor. The double pond is the focal point from upstairs and the Master bedroom on the ground floor.

A cluster of chocolate and cream planters pick up the colours of the house and garden. Rhyncospermum jasminoides and a Sedum roof envelope the shed. Box hedging, box balls and tall bay standards punctuate naturalistic grasses and perennials.  Sofas are a step away to relax with a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine.
